Chidinma Onweni, MD, is a distinguished neurocritical care physician whose work reflects clinical excellence, global perspective, and a deep commitment to patients facing life-threatening neurological illness. She currently practices at Wesley Medical Center and brings advanced expertise in the management of complex critical care conditions.
A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Onweni completed residency training at East Tennessee State University and fellowship training in neurocritical care at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Originally from Nigeria, she brings an international lens to medicine and serves on the Advisory Council of the HER Foundation, where she advances awareness, research, and advocacy for hyperemesis gravidarum and maternal health.
