Jenny Ecord, APRN
Jenny Ecord, is the aunt of Cooper Davis. An amazing 16-year-old boy who lost his life in August 2021 to a fake pill. Within days of Cooper’s death, his family set out to educate kids and parents about this unbelievable danger – Fentanyl. The family has created Keepin’ Clean for Coop and the Cooper Davis Memorial Foundation – Fentanyl Awareness and Education. The mission is to help spread awareness around the dangers of counterfeit pills so that we can save families the heartache of losing a loved one. Every life is precious, and we want to prevent others from making that one choice that could have a deadly outcome.
Jenny is the APRN Heart Center program coordinator for Children’s Mercy Wichita Specialty Clinic and outreach clinics. She started her career with CM 10 years ago, starting the cardiology service in Wichita. Prior to working for CM she has worked as a NNP in the NICU, as a PNP pediatric primary care and pediatric cardiology and electrophysiology. Her passion is kids and advocating for their health and well-being.
