Activity Description:

Breast Journal Club brings together Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), as well as ancillary staff, to review latest Breast Cancer Journals and articles in relation to both malignant and non-malignant breast disease. The purpose is to collaborate and discuss current practices and open discussions on recommendations proposed by journals.

Target Audience: 

Physicians/APPs involved in the care of Breast Cancer Patients. May include: Breast Radiologists, Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, and ancillary staff members

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

1. Understand care and management of chemotherapy and breast cancer patients
2. Discuss recommendations and treatments for patients with DCIS
3. Implement optimal course of treatment for breast cancer patients
