Activity Description:

This activity is designed to facilitate a peer review of trauma cases with a focus on identifying opportunities for improvement in patient care and system processes. Attendees will review trauma findings, evaluate clinical and operational outcomes, and discuss strategies to address identified gaps. The session will also include a review of follow-up actions from prior meetings to ensure accountability and continuous quality improvement. Through collaborative discussion and evidence-based evaluation, the activity aims to enhance trauma care standards and promote best practices within the clinical team.

Trauma Liaisons, Cache Valley Hospital Quality Personnel, Cache Valley Hospital Administration, Trauma Department

  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in recent trauma case management.
  • Evaluate trauma audit findings to enhance clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
  • Develop actionable strategies and follow-up plans to improve trauma care processes.
