Activity Description:

The Heart-to-Heart Grand Rounds series provides an ongoing forum for multidisciplinary dialogue on congenital heart disease. Each session features expert-led discussions, case reviews, and emerging research aimed at advancing knowledge and fostering collaboration in both pediatric and adult congenital heart care. This series is designed to engage the entire care team—including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals—and emphasizes evidence-based strategies, innovative therapies, and team-based approaches to improve outcomes and care across the lifespan.

Target Audience: 

This course is designed for Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals involved in pediatric and adult congenital heart care.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify current evidence-based guidelines and emerging innovations in congenital heart disease management across pediatric and adult populations. 
  • Analyze complex congenital heart cases and apply evidence-based strategies to optimize clinical decision-making.
  • Demonstrate effective interdisciplinary communication techniques to enhance collaboration among physicians, APPs, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  • Evaluate new technologies, surgical techniques, and team-based approaches and integrate them into practice to improve patient outcomes across the lifespan.
