The History of Fetal Interventions: Where We Are Now

Beaumont, TX US
May 14, 2025

This is a live, in-person only event.

This conference offers an in-depth exploration of the evolution and future of fetal medicine and procedures, designed specifically for practicing OB/GYNs. Led by Dr. Karolina Adam, Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist, the session begins with a concise historical overview of the field, tracing milestones that have led to current best practices. The presentation will then distinguish between fetal interventions that are considered standard of care and those that remain under investigational use through clinical trials or specialized protocols. The session will highlight cutting-edge research and emerging therapies that are poised to shape the future of fetal treatment. Finally, Dr. Adam will present a case from the hospital and show the innerworkings of a Level IV Maternal center.
