Pre-Hospital Blood Administration

This enduring course will focus on optimizing survival outcomes in catastrophic hemorrhagic shock through the deployment of pre-hospital blood administration. We will explore how rapid patient selection, strict adherence to the cold chain, and immediate mitigation of adverse transfusion reactions directly influence neonatal, pediatric, and adult trauma survival. This discussion highlights the critical role of clinical precision and operational mastery across advanced EMS systems, critical care transport teams, and receiving trauma centers in delivering life-saving component therapy at the right time for our most vulnerable patients.
