Primary Care Symposium 2023
This symposium serves to provide an annual update of best practices related to current topics in primary care. The goal of this symposium is for each participating provider to increase awareness of evidence-based guidelines pertaining to evaluation, treatment and management of topics discussed and utilize the recommendations provided. This year’s focus is on oncology and genetic testing, blood cancers, cardiac calcium scores, nephrology, chiari malformation, and medical marijuana use.
Target Audience
Family physicians, general internists, psychologists, hospitalists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and respiratory therapists.
Learning Objectives
As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to:
Evaluate patients of all ages using the most current medical trends.
Demonstrate increased knowledge on the most recent pharmacological agents available.
Assess the most appropriate treatment for patients in the primary care setting.
