Sky Ridge Medical Center EMS Skills Rodeo 2023
This conference is designed to provide EMS personnel and paramedics with the latest knowledge and skills in a variety of emergency medical topics. The conference will feature lectures, case studies, and hands-on skills training from leading experts in the field. This skills workshop will offer case review stations that will discuss, review and identify Pre-Hospital Mid-Shaft Femur Fractures, Recognition and Treatment of Stroke and Sepsis Patients, Review of Cardiovascular Signs and Symptoms, and Obstetrics Assessment; Evaluation and Care of OB Patients Suffering from Domestic Violence. Each station will be 20 minutes long.
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of EMS providers.
- Apply evidence-based practices to the assessment and management of common and critical medical emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals in a variety of settings.
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills in the provision of emergency medical care.
Accreditation: The HCA Healthcare Continental Division is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
