These courses are intended for internal hospital staff.

Activity Description:

This lecture series is intended to provide trauma education to hospital nurses and providers as well as EMS providers. The education takes the form of case reviews, clinical practice guideline review, and subject matter expert guest speakers.

Target Audience: 

Physicians, APP, nurses, EMS, Allied Health Professionals

Learning Objectives:

1. Recognize the uniqueness of trauma patients and apply current best practice when caring for the trauma patient.
2. Utilize multi-discipline team collaboration to ensure standards of care are met while caring for trauma patients. 
3. Identify the standards of care for trauma patients, by focusing on quality outcome and optimization of care for injured patients.
