This presentation will describe several new studies and publications regarding the use of whole blood or low titer O whole blood (LTOWB) in trauma patients. Early and late survival in trauma patients receiving WB as compared to component therapy will be explored.
Management of Behavioral Health Patients for Prehospital Providers
This course will cover the capabilities of the programs at ORMC in regards to Behavioral Health and Alcohol/Chemical treatment. There will be discussions around the EMS role in caring for these patient and safe modalities for medicating and restraining as needed.
