Activity Description:

This grand rounds event will focus on OB Mechanical Dilation. There will be discussions regarding outpatient balloon cervical ripening as well as inpatient combination ripening. Up to date guidelines, procedures and data will be shown to enhance clinical knowledge for participants. We enthusiastically invite you to join our OB/GYN education activity.

Target Audience:

This course is designed for hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, registered nurses, allied health professionals, physicians and residents.

Learning Objectives:

  • Ability to state the application process of balloon ripening for inductions. 
  • Knowledge of guidelines and procedures for mechanical dilation.
