Activity Description:

This Grand Rounds session will explore the evolution of gallbladder disease, including historical perspectives and current standards in diagnosis and management. Attendees will gain insight into the clinical presentation, and treatment options for gallbladder disease, as well as emerging trends in surgical and non-surgical care. This session aims to enhance knowledge and improve clinical decision-making for healthcare professionals managing patients with gallbladder related conditions.

Target Audience: 

This course is designed for hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, registered nurses, allied health professionals, physicians and residents.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the historical and current approaches to diagnosing gallbladder disease.
  • Identify common clinical presentations and complications of gallbladder disease.
  • Review treatment options and evolving management strategies for gallbladder conditions.
