Rebecca Garber is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience caring for burn injured, frostbite and acutely injured patients. In addition to managing inpatient, surgical and outpatient care, she also facilitates mental health and recovery by overseeing the burn survivor peer support program. Rebecca is passionate about education and provides professional lectures for medical, academic and non-medical industry audiences locally, regionally and nationally. She is a member of the American Burn Association (ABA), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Advisory Committee and a national faculty member of the ABLS program. Rebecca also advocates for burn patient needs with the ABA Government Affairs Committee by working on national prevention projects. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Lastly, Rebecca enjoys time spent with her family in travel and adventure activities.
