I completed medical school and residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This was followed by a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which I finished in 2021. I was fortunate to join the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York as a faculty member over the last 3 years, where I also served as the co-director of Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction Fellowship. I recently relocated to Nova Scotia, where I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University. My research interests include oncologic outcomes in mucosal head and neck cancers and virtual surgical planning in oral cavity reconstruction.
