Theresa Hofstede, BSc. DDS, FACP
Dr. Hofstede is a professor in the Section of Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, Department of Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (1991) and a General Practice Residency (1992) at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. She received her certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center in 1999. After years of private practice, Dr. Hofstede completed a fellowship in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). She is currently the director of the fellowship program in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at MDACC.
Dr. Hofstede is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. She is a fellow in the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP), and the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (AAMP). Dr. Hofstede is a past president of the AAMP and serves on the Board of Directors of the AAMP.
