Joel Davies, MD, MSc, FRCSC
Joel Davies is a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist and assistant professor at the University of Toronto. His primary appointment is at Sinai Health System and he is cross-appointed to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Toronto General Hospital. He completed his medical degree and residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. Following this, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina under the primary mentorship of Dr. Terry Day. In 2021, he was recruited back to the University of Toronto as a surgical oncologist with a specific interest in microvascular reconstructive surgery and transoral robotic surgery. He is currently completing a masters degree in Health Services Research with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence through the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.
