Lea is a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counselor that has been providing pediatric speech, language, and feeding services for over 14 years.  She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Since receiving her degrees she has worked in a variety of settings including pediatric outpatient and acute care.  She has extensive experience and expertise in pediatric and infant feeding and swallowing.  Lea currently supports feeding and speech language needs for Rocky Mountain Hospital’s pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric floor, and outpatient center. She also completes NICU, pediatric, and infant swallow studies in radiology.  She also supports RMHC Grow to Thrive Clinic and the AEROdigestive program.   Lea is passionate about working with families with children with feeding, growth and breastfeeding challenges.  She is also trained in a variety of well-known approaches including Beckman Oral Motor, SOS, and TalkTools.
