Jennifer Jellerson is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 26 years of experience in critical care nursing. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role.
In April 2023, Jennifer assumed the position of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of nursing operations, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Before her current role, Jennifer was the Critical Care Director for five years, demonstrating her strong leadership skills and commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Jennifer's passion for nursing leadership extends beyond the bedside. In October 2022, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Leadership and Administration from Western Governors University. This educational achievement reflects her dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
Jennifer's recent selection for HCA Healthcare's prestigious Executive Development Program, in collaboration with Harvard Business School, is a testament to her exemplary leadership capabilities and potential for future growth. She has applied this passion for enacting policy changes to improve patient care, such as developing a protocol to help expedite pulmonary embolism care at St Mark's Hospital, advancing a new in-house dialysis program, implementing ECMO, and advancing the care of neurocritical patients.
