2025 St. Mark's Hospital Trauma Symposium

The St. Mark's Hospital Trauma Symposium is a half-day learning event where experts in trauma care discuss evidence-based approaches to caring for the injured patient. Speakers will cover topics that span from prehospital through rehabilitation phases of care. The goal of this symposium is to increase knowledge and care delivery of EMS personnel, nurses, physicians, and all staff who work with trauma patients.

Physicians, nurses, EMS providers, therapy staff, ancillary staff

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Summarize the indications of interventional radiology in both acute and chronic trauma care. 
  2. Implement strategies to optimize outcomes in trauma cardiac arrest. 
  3. Discuss the complexities of anticoagulant therapy for the patient at-risk for trauma.
