Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Lauren Jimenez earned her bachelor's from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 and then moved to Ohio to work as a genetic counseling assistant. After two years of gaining experience in the field of genetics, she continued her training at Wayne State University in Michigan where she earned her Master’s degree and became board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) in 2023. Lauren joined Invision Sally Jobe's team later that year where she provides oncology genetic counseling and testing services to patients and their families.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys listening to music and going to concerts, thrifting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
