Darrell L. Hunt, MD, PhD, FACS, was named the Trauma Medical Director of TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN in February of 2021 and the Division Trauma Medical Director for the TriStar Division of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in 2022. He is also the program director for the TriStar/Nashville surgical critical care fellowship, which started in 2023. Dr. Hunt completed medical school at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He then completed his residency in General Surgery, PhD in molecular cell biology, and fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Florida in Gainesville. In his free time, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
