I was raised overseas with an aversion for all things medical but a love of adventure and people. 
I came to the US for College and became an RN in 2005 thinking nursing was at least a good skill to take back overseas. I ended up working as an ER nurse in Missouri and then in North Carolina for 10 + years before branching in to trauma as a specialty as a Trauma nurse Lead and then into air medical.

I have certainly overcome my aversion for medical things finding my love of people and adventure took me straight there. I now love the rules and why’s and sleuthing it brings. I love the humanity in the teamwork and empathy needed. Always learning, always changing, always growing.
