Amber Wright, MD, is a double board-certified pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist. After earning her medical degree and completing her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), she joined the faculty there for nearly a decade, eventually becoming an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and serving as the Third-Year Clerkship Director. Her accomplishments include implementing a POCUS curriculum, mentoring students through the Betty Ford Summer Institute, and receiving the TTUHSC Block Teaching Award and Opus Award. Currently practicing at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, she recently received the "Best Physician to Call at 2 AM" award. Outside of the hospital, she is a mother of six who finds balance through service, reading, running, and piano.
