Kevin Jensen, MD

Dr. Kevin S. Jensen is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with 16 years of experience. He is passionate about taking care of patients with endometriosis and was mentored by one of the premier endometriosis surgeons in the state of Utah, Dr. Daren Watts, M.D. Dr. Jensen is an accomplished robotic surgeon, speaks fluent Spanish and loves empowering patients to make decisions for their care.
He genuinely feels lucky to have the opportunity to make deep impacts on patients’ lives and well-being. He loves educating patients and strongly believes his role as physician is to inform and empower them with the latest information and knowledge, enabling them to make the best possible decisions for their own health.
Dr. Jensen loves to treat patients from diverse backgrounds. He is fluent in Spanish and says his patients teach him something new every day. His wife Evelyn is from Mexico, and they have three children who keep them on their toes.
Dr. Jensen is notorious for telling “Dad Jokes” and loves making people smile (or groan, depending on the quality of the joke), and he loves to sneak away to telemark ski or play racquetball when he can. He is a creative cook and loves to plan great adventures at home and on vacations with his family.
A native of Logan, Utah, Dr. Jensen graduated from the University of Utah and completed medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Residency at Texas Tech (El Paso, Texas) followed. After residency, he joined Saint Mark's Hospital as an OBGYN Hospitalist. While he enjoyed practicing medicine in this capacity, he missed seeing patients in the office setting and building long-term relationships with them. He was able to do this by joining Saint Mark's OB/GYN group, where he experienced great mentorship as well as significant professional and personal growth.
He is passionate about caring for patients with pelvic pain, especially those who deal with endometriosis.
He is constantly pursuing more knowledge and tools by attending conferences, collaborating with colleagues from multiple medical specialties, studying his craft, and mentoring others. One of his favorite journeys is to help patients who have struggled with infertility associated with pelvic pain and endometriosis, performing surgery to remove diseased tissues, and eventually guiding them through pregnancy and delivery, a life-changing experience which had been previously impossible. He operates on patients with highly complicated cases of endometriosis.
