The Women's Wellness Summit: Elevating Evidence-Based Care
The Women’s Wellness Summit: Elevating Evidence-Based Care is a half-day continuing medical education activity developed to address current and emerging issues in women’s health relevant to primary care practice. This live educational event, which will also be broadcast virtually, is designed to expand access for providers throughout Utah and Eastern Idaho. The agenda will include evidence-based lectures on breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, osteoporosis and healthy lifestyle interventions, perimenopause and menopause management including hormone replacement therapy, endometriosis and other gynecologic conditions, and low-intervention birth options. The activity is intended to enhance participants’ clinical knowledge, improve competence in the prevention, identification, and management of women’s health conditions, and support application of current best practices in everyday care. Through expert faculty presentations and accessible delivery, the program seeks to advance high-quality, patient-centered women’s healthcare across the region.

The intended audience is including but not limited to: Physicians, APPs, Nursing, Case Managers, Social Work, Other Allied Professionals
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the conference, participants will be able to:
- Integrate current evidence-based approaches into the assessment and management of women’s health needs across the continuum of care.
- Enhance clinical competence in counseling, evaluating, and managing women’s health issues commonly encountered in practice.
- Apply patient-centered and individualized care principles to support informed decision-making and treatment planning in women’s health.
- Translate updated clinical knowledge into practice to improve the quality and consistency of women’s health care delivery
