A group of healthcare or hospital staff reviewing patient care through education, policy development and review and case analysis. Discussing how to promote fair policies and procedures that maximize achieving good, patient-centered outcomes. Identify any ethical issues that need to be studied, taken action on, or reported to increase patient care.

  • Understand the three functions of the clinical ethics committee
  • Understand the 2 primary goals of the healthcare ethics committee
  • Review primary skills for ethics consultations
