Activity Description:

Continuous education needs for Healthcare Providers staff to keep current on women's and children management and assessment of various medical problems that can/will happen. Discuss up to the minute women's and children news, review articles and utilize best practices in managing urgent care and critical women's and children patients. Increase knowledge for all Healthcare Providers on situations that have occurred and to increase health care providers awareness on guidelines and procedures.

Target Audience:

EMS Providers, Physicians, Advance Practice Providers, RN's, Respiratory Therapy, Techs/CNA's

Learning Objectives:

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • The ability to administer emergency medications to Neonatal/Pediatric patients.
  • Create assessment of a pediatric patient, including basic triaging built on educational presentation.
  • Identify positives and opportunities for improvement through pediatric code simulations.
