Activity Description:

The purpose of the trauma PIPS is to provide a safe venue for trauma staff to identify areas of improvement, and promote professionalism, ethical integrity and transparency in assessing and improving patient care. Case presentations designed to review cases from a trauma perspective. Create scholarly forum that encourages discussion between team member to facilitate process improvement in patient outcomes.

Target Audience:

Physicians/Residents/Medical Students/Clinical Staff 

Learning Objectives:

1. Refine ability to call trauma activations appropriately. 

2. Improve diagnostic and treatment skills in caring for patients.

3. Document trauma care appropriately. 

4. Meet regulatory requirements for the trauma program.
