Activity Description:

Cardiac Catheterization series aims to offer its audience specific topics from speakers to not only help them remain current on the latest advances in cardiac catheterization, but to also assist them as they continue to grow professionally. Topics and speakers provide up-to-date knowledge about procedures and outcomes. Cardiac Catherization give providers necessary information for patient safety.

Physicians, Fellows, Residents, Medical Students, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the indications and contraindications for new techniques in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of specific heart diseases.
  • Formulate prioritized differential diagnoses for the clinical presentations of specific medical conditions, diagnoses, and diseases that warrant the need for cardiac catheterization.
  • Apply guidelines to patients under their care with an understanding of the rationale behind the guidelines and the expected outcomes of this specific procedure.
  • Integrate research techniques related to specific medical diagnoses that are results from Cardiac Catheterization.
