Activity Description:

This educational activity introduces healthcare professionals to Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (V-NOTES), an innovative minimally invasive surgical approach that utilizes the vaginal canal as a natural access route for endoscopic procedures. Participants will explore the fundamental principles, clinical applications, and advantages of V-NOTES compared to traditional minimally invasive techniques. The session will examine patient selection criteria, technical considerations, and potential challenges while showcasing real-world case examples through video demonstrations. This comprehensive overview aims to enhance understanding of V-NOTES as a valuable addition to the gynecologic surgeon's armamentarium, emphasizing its potential to reduce patient morbidity while maintaining surgical efficacy.
