Activity Description:

This Grand Rounds presentation aims to enhance clinicians' understanding of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM), a rare but potentially life-threatening cause of heart failure in late pregnancy or the postpartum period. Attendees will learn to recognize key clinical features, apply appropriate diagnostic strategies, and implement evidence-based management plans tailored to this unique patient population. The session will also address prognosis, long-term follow-up, and implications for future pregnancies, equipping providers with the knowledge to improve maternal outcomes through timely diagnosis and intervention.
