Activity Description:
The Semmelweis Colloquium Meeting, is a multidisciplinary educational series bringing together obstetricians/gynecologists, maternal-fetal medicine subspecialists, urogynecologists, endocrinologists, and general surgeons. The series focuses on advancing knowledge and clinical practice in infectious diseases relevant to women's health and surgical care through case-based presentations and expert discussion. Topics such as infectious disease management, vaccination, microbial resistance, and sepsis will be integrated into these discussions. This activity is designed to promote evidence based decision making and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, registered nurses, allied health professionals, physicians and residents.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify and manage neuro-vascular complications in a timely manner.
- Improve adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
- Ability to strengthen communication and collaboration within the neuro-vascular team to reduce morbidity and mortality rate.
