Graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2004. 

I started my nursing career on the medical/surgical floor as a staff nurse. Over the years I have worked in the NICU, for home health and hospice. While working for hospice I was the assistant director of the hospice program. After working for hospice for several years my love for wound care moved me to work in wound care in an acute setting. I received my certified wound specialist certification 7 years ago and was the wound clinic coordinator.   Three years ago, I transferred to the trauma department.  Where today I am the Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator for our trauma program.
