Activity Description:

Continuous education needs of EMS staff to keep current on management and assessment of various medical problems that can/will happen. Review cases regarding history, diagnoses, physical exams and assessment/management of each case. Increase knowledge for all EMS staff on situations that have occurred and to increase health care providers awareness on guidelines and procedures.

Target Audience: 

Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistance, Residents, Medical Students, Emergency Medical Services

Learning Objectives:

1. Able to describe care and treatment plans for city and state guidelines

2. Knowledge of comprehensive EMS systems and procedures

3. Understand medical/legal and ethical issues which is intended to improve the health of EMS personnel
