Culture of Patient Safety

The overall educational goal of this session is to strengthen participants’ understanding of patient safety culture and its impact on clinical and operational outcomes. Attendees will gain clarity on key concepts such as the Culture of Safety, the Second Victim Phenomenon, and the principles of high reliability. The session also aims to enhance practical application through discussion of the Just Culture Algorithm. Ultimately, the program is designed to equip healthcare professionals with knowledge and strategies to promote safer, more reliable care environments.
Target Audience
This course is intended for the Medical Staff of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.
