Practical tips which participants can apply in their organization are integrated throughout the presentations and will provide valuable takeaways to be implemented immediately.

  • Describe the structure and functions of medical staff governance
  • Explain the processes and standards for credentialing, peer review, and handling behavioral and wellness concerns among medical staff 
  • Identify the appropriate procedures for reporting to the Texas Medical Board and the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) in compliance with regulatory requirements
