The Road to Organizational Well-Being Symposium Presented by the Memorial Health Medical Staff

This interactive course will examine the importance of well-being for individuals, teams, and the organization in the healthcare environment. The goal is to inspire and engage the medical staff in a day devoted to learning and conversation relevant to Individual Resiliency, Relationships and enhancing the medical staff culture, and collaboration with new leadership around workflow in the facility. Sessions will review the existing data around promoting an environment conducive to well-being and how to take steps to optimize one’s role in the broader system.

Target Audience

This course has been designed for medical staff and all credentialed providers. 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the components of the Stanford Model of professional fulfillment.
  2. Examine strategies for creating a culture of well-being.
  3. Recognize drivers of stress behaviors that contribute to “un-well” environments.
  4. Review opportunities for effective communication at work and outside of work.
